Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. All purpose flour, rice flour, salt, curry leaves, jeera, green chillies, coconut pieces, ginger, baking soda and mix well. Add curd and water, and make a thick batter.  Cover and let the batter rest for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes the batter will be fluffy and airy. Heat the oil in a wok. Heat it on low to medium heat. Once the oil it hot, take the batter in your hand and drop a tablespoon measure of batter into the oil.  Just see if the oil is hot enough and the Bonda starts sizzling. If the oil is fine, drop more dumplings into the oil and fry on medium low heat till it is nice and golden. Take it out onto a kitchen towel to remove the excess oil. Serve it hot with Coconut chutney or Rasam.
