ONE Pot Pasta

One Pot Pasta, the name itself is self explanatory….

Weekends, i am lazy to make all the meals elaborate nor can i go out for all my meals. This is a recipe that needs 10 mins of preparation and another 15 to 20 minutes for it to cook, during which time i can laze around.

If you have to come back home in the evening and prepare dinner, this is one dish that you should have on your list. Needs one casserole, chop and add everything, cook and its done.

To know more about Del Monte pasta visit this link https://www.facebook.com/DelMonteIndia.

I am sending this recipe to Del Monte: Blog your way to Italy organised by indiblogger

Ingredients

2 1/2 cup – Del Monte Conchiglie Pasta ( you can use any variety)

1/2 – Zuchinni

2 to 3 – Tomatoes

5 to 6 – Sun dried Tomatoes

4 to 5 – Garlic cloves

Handful of Spinach leaves

Salt to taste

1 tsp – Red chilly flakes

1 tbsp – Mixed herb seasoning (if you dont have that, you can use dominos seasoning)

1 big dollop of cream

Chopped Parsley or Basil

Method

Chop zucchini, tomatoes, spinach, sun dried tomatoes and add them to the pasta in the casserole. Crush the garlic and add that too.

Add enough water to cover the pasta. Add salt and red chilly flakes. Let the water start boiling. Cover the casserole with the lid and cook it till the pasta is cooked Al denté.

Open the lid, and let the remaining water evaporate and  let the liquid get saucy.

Switch of the flame. Add cream and chopped parsley or Basil and give it a mix. Make it as creamy as you like.

Serve it hot.

Such an easy, simple, fulfilling dish. A one pot meal….and a yummy one!!

  • Priyanka’s performance was fodder for the mind and the senses. While the performance was set to classical composition, her performance had a different perspective to the narrative. This opened our eyes to a completely different perspective of the protagonist in the said piece, may it be Sita or Baby Krishna. @priyankachandrasekhar

For people who are wondering what @jagali561 is, it is a space where we invite artists to our home and perform in front of a very small, enthusiastic audience. We welcome anyone who is interested, including kids. We host this once a month and it gives us an opportunity to have an interaction with the artist and learn so much more, which otherwise is not possible. Do follow @jagali561 to know more and be a part of it. .

Do you want to help your child develop a healthy relationship with food and eat well to create a more enjoyable food environment for your family?
1. ACCEPT THAT EACH CHILD IS DIFFERENT , just like every adult is different. Allow your child to decide if and how much to eat. Don't force it.
2. TALK ABOUT FOOD - get your child involved in food selection and meal preparation. Take him grocery shopping and let him help in the kitchen to see the effort it takes in making that meal.
3. MAKE MEAL TIMES FOR MEALS ONLY - eat together as family at least once a day. No TV, phones or tablets.
4. BE A GOOD ROLE MODEL- your attitude matters. Children want to eat what adults eat. Instead of judging food as good or bad, teach them to think of healthy food as something that will help them grow tall, be strong, play more.
5. DON'T REWARD EATING HEALTHY FOOD WITH DESSERT. Instead, make fruits and vegetables festive, reward with fun activities and offer dessert occasionally, detached from eating any other food!
6. BE PATIENT AND CONTINUE TO OFFER A VARIETY OF HEALTHY FOODS. When your child refuses to eat something, ask her why. Help her acknowledge what caused her response: is it taste, smell, texture, or temperature? Remember that it takes 10 to 15 times for children to trust and try a new food.
7.TAKE IT EASY. This is the most important rule. 😅They won’t eat the way you want all the time. Have an occasional treat, and allow your child to experiment with all foods. Most importantly of all, don’t take the pleasure out of food. ❤️♥️♥️ Also do check out #babyledweaning.
