November 14, 2014 Chutney & Chutney Powder

Ingredients
4 nos – Tomato Small
1 no – Onion medium
3 nos – Red Chilly
2 tbsp – Chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
A pinch of Sugar

For tempering
1 tsp – Oil
1 tsp – Mustard seeds
A pinch of Hing

Method
In a pan boil chopped tomato, chopped onion and red chilly in a cup of water, till the onion and tomato ate cooked and soft.

Cool it and blend it into a paste along with salt, sugar and coriander leaves.

In a small pan heat oil. Addh ing and mustard seeds to it. Let it crackle. To this add the blended paste and cook it till the oil seperates.

Serve it with idli and dosa along with coconut chutney.
