RED Raddish Pickle

First Agro is a brand that produces Zero Pesticide vegetables. I am fortunate to have known them. From farm to my kitchen just ensures that my family has a purer, healthier food on plate.

The vegetables are fresh, tender, crisp and most of all its safe. I grew up in a very safe environment. Pluck fruits from the tree and ate it directly. Had fresh milk. I am now so happy that i can give similar food to my kid.

Ingredients

1 cup – First Agro baby Red Raddish, chopped according to your liking

1 cup – First Agro baby carrots, sliced

1 tbsp – First Agro coriander leaves, finely chopped

8 to 10 nos – First Agro red birds eye chilly

1/2 cup – white vinegar

1/2 cup – Apple Cider Vinegar

1 tbsp – Schezwan pepper

1/4 cup – Sugar

1 tsp – Salt

Method

In a sauce pan heat both vinegars, peppercorns , sugar and salt. Simmer it till the sugar is dissolved completely. Let this mixture cool.

Fill raddish, carrots and coriander leaves into an airtight bottle. Pour the cooled vinegar mixture over it.

Close the lid, and give it a good shake.

Let it sit for 3 to 4 hours. Keep shuffling it once in a while. I shuffle it when ever i pass it. You will see that the colour of the raddish starts bleeding and the vinegar will start looking really pretty. A beautiful pink…

Keep it overnight and you will see that the colour gets darker and darker and the pickle tastier. Its an amazing sweet, tangy pickle. A must try.

Serve it with indian dishes or sandwiches.
