Hope you all had a great Diwali and Thanksgiving. Lot of parties, family dinners has made us eat more than what we usually do. And before we know it’ll be Christmas and New Year, time to party again.

So lets detox and get prepared and be guiltfree.

Green Tea has been one of the most effective drink to detox your body. But having a simple green tea might get boring sometime. So here a Green Tea Detox with some variations to the green tea that is refreshing and more likeable ? (atleast for people like me ?).

Ingredients

For Berry Green Tea

1no – Green Tea
1/2 cup – Mixed Frozen Berries ( Raspberry, Cranberry, blueberry, strawberry)

1 cup – Ice cubes

Honey to taste

Mint leaves

For Orange Green Tea

1 no – Green Tea Bag

2 nos – Orange

1 tsp – Lemon

1 no – Banana, small size

1 cup – Ice cubes

1/4 tsp – Freshly grated ginger

Honey to taste

Few mint leaves

For Matcha Green Tea

1 no – Green Tea Bag

1 tbsp. – Matcha Green Tea Powder

1 no – Banana

1 cup – Ice cubes

Honey to taste

Method

To make the Green Tea Detox drinks, you can make all the three variations at a go and refrigerate it to be enjoyed later.
Bring 3 cups of water to boil in a saucepan. Add three bags of green tea and switch off the gas and cover the saucepan and let the tea infuse for a couple of minutes. Let the tea cool. Divide it into three parts and then refrigerate it for an hour minimum.

For Berry Green Tea

Add all the ingredients and one parts green tea to the blender jar. Using the purée  attachment to the cordless handblender, puree the berries well. Seive it to remove the seeds. Pour it into the glass, Garnish it with few mint leaves and serve chilled.

For Orange Green Tea

Add orange and lemon juice and other ingredients including one parts green tea to the blender jar. Using the purée attachment to the cordless handblender, whisk the juice till the ice cubes are crushed completely.Garnish it with few mint leaves and serve chilled.

For Matcha Green Tea

Add all the ingredients and one parts green tea to the blender jar. Using the purée  attachment to the cordless handblender. Blend till the bananas are puréed  completely and the ice crushed to a smoothie consistency. Serve chilled.
Note

* Make Green Tea in advance and freeze them in ice cube trays and use it directly instead of ice cubes. In that case, just use more no of green tea ice cubes or plain water to get the right consistency.
