As a kid, i used to hate a lot of things. And akki rotti was one of them. My mom had to prepare something else when she made akki rotti.
But now that i am a mom, i do not have much option but to like everything. And now i genuienly like it.
This is also known as Banale Rotti (kadai rotti) as originally it was made in a kadai and not tawa. or Masala rotti in some parts of karnataka as there is a plain akki rotti too
