HERitage Winery

Living in Bangalore we are always look out for a weekend activity. Something where we can take kids.

Heritage Winery and Vineyard is one of such places that is located 50 kms from Bangalore, just after Channapatna. We read about this place and thought of giving it a try.  Left Bangalore at 8am, stopped at Malgudi Vattika for breakfast and reached the winery by 10.30.

They have a tour of the winery and if you go in season there is a huge vineyard too.

Then there is wine tasting, where you get to taste 6 kinds of wine, which I felt was quite average, actually below average.

But kids can play around the place and the exciting part will be grape stomping for them. It is a great fun activity if you go with a group of friends. The food in the restaurant is decent.

I would recommend a visit to this place. You could spend a good half day.
