Danish butter cookies are these small buttery, light, crisp and delicate cookies that just melts in your mouth.  Easy to make and beautiful to look at 🙂

Similar to Danish Butter Cookies, basic butter cookies and melting moments are my favourites which are also light and buttery.

Danish butter cookies are these small buttery, light, crisp and delicate cookies that just melts in your mouth.  Easy to make and beautiful to look at :)

Method

To make the Danish Butter Cookies preheat oven to 180°C.

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Cream butter , vanilla and icing sugar till light and fluffy.

Add the egg and beat till well mixed.

Add the flour and fold using a spatula till the mixture comes together.

If the mixture is too dry, add the 1 tbsp to 2 tbsps of milk until a soft but firm batter is formed.

Fill the dough into a piping bag with your desired nozzle.

Create the cookie shapes using piping bag or simply dropping a tsp of batter onto the sheet.

Spring some sugar (optional) and bake for 10-15 minutes or till the cookies turn nice and gold.

Let cool for 10 minutes on a cooling rack then sprinkle some icing sugar.
