ROAsted Figs
  • 5 nos – Fresh Figs
  • 3 tbsp – Sugar
  • 3 tbsp – Unsalted buttet
  • 1 tsp – Rose water
  • 1 pinch – Cinnamon powder
  • Pistachios for garnishing.
  1. In a saucepan, melt butter, sugar ,cinnamon powder till the sugar dissolves. Add rose water to this . Pour this mixture over the figs generously.
  2. Bake it in the oven for 10 to 15 mins or till the tips of the figs turn gold. They come out roasted and the sauce bubbling below them.
  3. Serve it hot. Drizzle the sauce over the figs , sprinkle some pistachios and serve it with a dollop of cream beside it.
