KHAra biscuit
  • 4 tbsp - All purpose flour
  • 1tsp - Sooji
  • 3 tbsp - Whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp - Rice flour
  • ¼ tsp - Baking powder
  • ¼ tsp - Baking soda
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - Sugar crushed
  • 2 tbsp - Cold butter cubes
  • 1 tbsp - Yogurt
  • 1no. - Green chilly
  • 1no. - Small onion (optional)
  • ¼ tsp - Cumin seeds ( optional)
  • Til or sesame seeds (optional)
  • curry leaves or coriander chopped
  • Desecated coconut
  1. Method
  2. Add all purpose, whole wheat and rice flour in a bowl and mix with salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
  3. Add cold butter and rub the flour in the butter between ur fingers or pulse it in a mixer till it becomes like breadcrumbs.
  4. Add roasted n crushed cumin seeds
  5. Add chopped green chilly, curry or coriander leaves. Mix well.
  6. Add cold yogurt and mix well to make a dough. Add more yougurt if the dough doesnt come together. It shud be roti dough consistency.
  7. Wrap it wit cling film n leave it in d fridge for atleast half an hour.
  8. Using little oil on the surface roll out the dough to 2mm thickness.
  9. Cut it into squares or circles and place on greased baking tray.
  10. Bake for 20-25 mins or till the biscuits turn gold in a preheated 180° oven. Cool n serve.
  11. U can sprinkle desecated coconut or crushed peanuts or sesame seeds or nigella seeds on top
