Ginger Date Chutney - For Winter
- 1 cup - @liondates Dessert King, deseeded.
- 3 Tbsp - Freshly grated ginger
- Juice of one huge lemon
- 1 tsp salt (optional)
- Wash peel and grate fresh ginger.
- Grind dates, 2Tbsp ginger and salt into paste.
- Try not to use water to grind. If you are not able to grind it without water then use as less as you can.
- Transfer it into a bowl.
- Mix the remaining ginger and lemon juice.
- The chutney should have a hit of spice from ginger and should be tangy. Try and adjust that at this stage.
- Put it in an airtight container and refrigerate.
